He's taking issue with the word 'everything' is all. Because, of course, it is not everything. It is all mechanical and electrical breakdown or failure and excludes wearable items, physical damage and some cosmetics, of course

Sorry to inform you , you are also wrong.

Full Factory Warrantee for years 4,5,6,7,8 is 100% the same as the free 3 year warrantee that came with the car. Everything is covered except for what is excluded in the 3 year warrantee, brakes , tiers etc that wear.

All cosmetics are covered , sticky buttons , sagging leather etc.

What you should note is there is no Power 15 anymore. Originally you could have that at year 4 ( cheaper and less covered than Full factory ). Now you can have only Full Factory to 8 years before you can get the Power 16.

Yes that’s exactly what the Ferrari dealer said. Still trying to get my best guess on how much a 2019 488 spider will depreciate in 3 years if it has 20k miles on it. Paying $266k for it including extending the factory warranty 2 more years bumper to bumper

Its going to depreciate. Assess whether you really want the car and don't even worry about the depreciation.

I'm keeping my 488GTB so I don't even think about depreciation.

Right! lol. Every time I get the dumb idea to shop for something new out of boredom I just open the garage and stare at my car, smile, and walk back inside. The 488GTB has aged SOOOOO well and really plays on the sexy, elegant, yet muscular lines that Ferrari was known for. I love it and plan to keep forever. If anything I'll add to the collection. But mine is bought and paid for and safe and sound!

Perfecto spec 488. I love the 488 in general.... totally agree with your thoughts on how it looks too...exotic and sexy yet muscular.

I miss the beautiful exhaust note my 488 spider had. I’ve often thought of trading backwards to recapture the beautiful noise that car made. My F8 spider sounds awful by comparison. I still can’t believe Ferrari put out a car like this that sounds so so dismal. Almost a crime.

It won't cover the leather which more thank likely has. Check around the binnacle and the 3 pieces around it along with bubbling in the doors. Also tug on the leather straps that hold in the owners manual and tool kit and see if they snap. Its a $600 repair. Check for sticky buttons.

None of these covered under warranty

Yes, but I think people confuse warranties. If the owner extended the factor warranty its a full warranty. If its a lapse and then a warranty its the Power Warranty and that does not cover leather. Dealers tend to just state "extended warranty" and the buyer should ask more questions to determine the difference.
