Stunning! Looks like they used a bit from the EXP10 prototype. I can't wait to see the GT3 version.

Nice luxury car but why do people compare it to cali or even aston? Bentley is almost 5000 lbs! Its a fast luxury car like a big amg coupe. Dct, rear biased awd, improved weight distribution will all improve this new one over the old but still not comparable to portofino

It's quite comparable to an Aston. I'd imagine it will get cross shopped with the Ferrari as well.

Me too! It doesn't look too big. I know it's a Bentley, so in the flesh I am sure it is HUGE, but it does not look that big. :D

It is a completely new chassis sharing its platform with the new Porsche Panamera.

I would like to see porsche make a 2 door panamera coupe. Like a new 928. Seems so obvious for them from day panamera was announced in 2010

I think the tail lights are an improvement for Bentley. Previously a weak spot in their styling IMHO.
I don't think this compares or competes with the DB11 or Portofino whatsoever. Completely different cars. The Rapide and FF (and for that matter the Panamera) would be closer. Now the Speed 6 concept could give the DB11 and Portofino some healthy competition...

The original (2003) Continental's tail end was the best. Cean and sculpted.

For me, the problem is the shared platforms and engines. Under the skin, it's just another variation of VW/Audi/Porsche of stuff. At that price point, I don't want shared platforms and engines -- I want a real Bentley, not a version of a Porsche or an Audi. It'll be beautifully done, but I won't want one no matter how good it is.

I don't mnd shared platform as long as its a good one. Bentley has been stuck using audi layout which is basically fwd with engine hanging ahead of front tires. Ridiculous.

Shared platforms are fine. Cars are better today than ever. Shared platforms and tech are a big reason why. Bentley is still is able to modify the car enough to make it their own.

No modification can eliminate the imbalances of all that engine weight in front of tires.

I had a 2013 GT and it was good car. Wasn't a sports car but I had zero complaints with it. Never felt imbalanced or improperly set up. Just a nice powerful, luxury coupe.

Yes it is a good looking, fast, luxury car but needs to handle better. Closer to aston, amg, or maserati which cant be done with what's basically a fwd platform. They say new chassis improves weight distribution so they've at least recognized the issue exists.
