He was a gutsy bastard and I think the Fuji race where he lost to Chris Hemsworth ( ) was the first F1 race televised in Australia (I refuse to be like Speedy and look up google/wiki )
He was short shifting as well, no doubt the owner didn't want his $3million car in the wall. Excellent dog box gear changing, a skill lost to most race drivers today. Also lots of steering corrections thanks to crossply tyres. What an achingly desirable car....
Ferrari know how to celebrate their drivers lives ....... the museum in Modena has a very poignant section for Schuey
Wow !! Vettel can write !!! Good on him, a bit more respect from me but I still want Dan Lauda would have been an interesting character to have a private talk to, even if he did bat for the other team in the end I think I'll watch Rush AGAIN tonight
Very nice https://www.gpfans.com/en/articles/39900/vettel-pays-tribute-to-lauda-with-special-monaco-gp-helmet/
Ouch! But yeah https://www.gpfans.com/en/articles/39896/hamilton-pathetic-for-skipping-media-duties-after-lauda-death/
Seriously?? What did the Schumachers do when their Mother died? He has obligations and is paid millions, and his boss died...nothing more. Mentor. LOL...give me a break!
