So typical mileage for a Ferrari? (Kidding). Get a PPI and you have nothing to worry about. As long as everything checks out it shouldn’t matter if it has 1500 or 15000 (other than value). Maybe the owner has multiple other cars and would occasionally start this one up and drive 50 miles a month? I say go for it if you like the spec and it passes a PPI

Yes car is certified CPO by Ferrari and is in pristine condition per the dealership so won’t need a PPI but was a tad worried about the ultra low mileage. Thank you for your input .

car is perfect. warranty or not you have an unmolested car to make your own. buy with confidence. whats the worst? a dried out hose? better than a car being used daily for 5 years in all sorts of weather and whatnot

Ft. Lauderdale Ferrari is a great store. Bought my 2019 488 there and would have bought from them again when F8 shopping. The Pista is still newish so 1500 mile in a few years isn't a worry for me. The car is certified and you have extra warranty but for peace of mind you could have it PPI'd independently if you wanted but probably not needed.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I don’t think my Pista has over 1,000 miles. I bought it preowned with sub-200 miles almost 4 years ago. Before you judge me too much, I do have other cars that I have to shuffle around in the garage. That said, the Pista probably gets the least seat time, but I love the car nonetheless. There’s been several cars go in the collection and out the collection during those 4 years, but the Pista remains. It’s been bulletproof, but the well documented battery problems does not inspire confidence and makes it “day trip car”.

I added up my mileage over the last 5 years across the cars I have right now, and the ones I had during that time period, and it’s around 200-250 miles per month. Not horrible collectively, and really all the disposal time I have available.

  19. If I had your garage, I might never drive the Pista.

Except maybe to move it out of the way to get to the other cars.

NOT driving a car is absolutely NOT good for maitenance ... it will not help for selling it too.

Seen plenty of cars with hardly kms on them and what then happened ...

I would never buy a car like that. Just my feelings :)

And the Pista is a stunning work of art. It can be enjoyed behind the wheel, or by simply staring at it while lounging in the couch.

Thank you all for the feedback. I pulled the trigger and purchased the vehicle. This is my second Pista and I am excited to receive it from Ft. Lauderdale Ferrari. I am waiting for the Forza valve opener to be installed than it can be shipped over to me. I have waited a couple years to find the perfect clean spec with black interior and this car fit the bill. The one year remaining of Full Factory warranty was a cherry on top.

To me, visually, Ferrari knocked it out of the park with the design of the Pista. The ride is perfectly amazing, especially when the valves are opened. Looking forward to driving this Italian masterpiece when it arrives.

I share your pain. The STO has barely 3,500 miles in 3 years, the F8 just over 2,500 in 2-1/2. It feels like I’ve hardly driven either.

I love both cars but have others, and let’s not forget the track toys (and the time, energy, effort, etc. it takes to engage in such nonsense).

That’s a nice garage to store your toys, by the way……
