Gators are regressing and will get destroyed Bama in a few weeks. Big10 is saying they will probably let in OSU in their conference title game even if they end up not playing the minimum 6 games they decided pre-season to get to conference title game. So the college playoffs imo are set now after seeing this weekend. Bama, ND, Clemson, OSU. UF will get blown out by Bama. Texas A&M will be left out of playoffs at #5. Rest don't matter.

I am already sick of the college 'playoffs' because TV will always find a way to get Bama, Clemson and Ohio State in it.

IF ND beats Clemson again that opens up room for A&M. Although I dont think they are really worthy. They aren't in the same class as the other playoff contenders in my opinion.

I'm not sure they're "regressing" as must as just being in a mode of playing just well enough to win the games; we'll see this week against LSU, which is a shadow of last year's team, but IMO not as bad as their record. But I agree that the 'Bama game will probably not be pretty. It will be a high-scoring affair but I don't think the Gators defense has what it takes to stop the Tide's running game.

While Grantham has a good record as a DC, I think that Mullen may be looking into replacing him in the off-season.

Okay, so OSU-UM is cancelled. OSU should not be allowed to play for playoffs with only 5 games played and 6 tops if they find someone next weekend to play. Complete ******** and a farce they are even ranked in top 10.

Gators are vile creatures. The bacteria in their jaws is enough to kill you. Sickening.

I figure that Gators are on the same level as Horned Frogs or Armadillos.

A&M going to get hosed. Hope they get in, but I also worry that they will get demolished.

Big10 overturned their own rule for this season requiring a team play at least 6 games to be eligible for the conference championship. So now OSU is in the championship game having played only 5 games. What a joke.

Grantham has got to go. He's not recruiting well, not scheming well, and his defenses have regressed. Derek Mason is available. If Mullen wants to get the Gators to elite status he has probably already been on the phone with him. If he sticks with Grantham, this is our peak. Mullen has a choice. He can be like Meyer or Spurrier or he can be like Mark Richt at Georgia.

LOL the Gators defense is horrific. They're making a freshman LSU QB look amazing. I've never seen a defense regress like this as a season goes on. Alabama will kill them next week.

Boy, the Miami Hurricanes really got trampled by the Tar Heels! Michael Carter and Javonte Williams combined for 544 yards rushing, the most ever by a duo in an NCAA game! Mack Brown had once fired Manny Diaz, and I think he was trying to prove that he had been right.

Not as embarrassing as the #6 Gators losing at home on senior night with a then-Heisman hopeful to a junk LSU team featuring a freshman QB starting his first game ever and no DBs available for their defense. Lack of discipline by players on Florida with stupid penalties not to mention joke non-existent defense. No point in watching the SEC title game. Bama will shut them out 70-0.

Apparently we recruited this guy to play for us and Mullen was okay with it.

Not as bad as Nebraska losing at home to a Minnesota team missing 33 - yes, 33 players due to covid.
I said Frost was a bad hire when they hired him, nothing has changed.
Some guys are simply not good HEAD coaches, Frost fits in that category.

PS - some places had NU as a 14 pt favorite.

What a dumb way to lose a football game! If I were Mullen, I'd throw that guy off the team.

I don't think Bama's defense is as strong as some years, and I think we can score some on them, especially if Kyle Pitts is healthy. So how about: 70-35?

The heads are beginning to roll: Kevin Sumlin, Lovie Smith, Gus Malzahn...

Who'll be next? Scott Frost, Jim Harbaugh, Dino Babers?

I don't get how Jim Harbaugh is still their head coach. Maybe the buyout clause is too big? No idea. Scott Frost is not a surprise to get let go. Three seasons of losing records in a championship winning program won't cut it.

35 seems like a lot. Maybe 70-21 if Bama stops caring. At this point Kyle Pitts should sit out of the game to not risk getting injured and losing millions in an NFL deal. It's basically why he sat out the LSU game.

We scored 44 on Georgia, and in my opinion their defense has been better than Bama's all year. And I think that Pitts will play (if healthy) since I believe he still has scouts to impress, and this is a much more important game.

LOL. FL calls a QB run by Trask on 3rd and 9 and of course have to go for a FG after failing to get a first down. And still no defense by FL...this game is a joke. Couldn't even hold serve on their second possession. Mullen will never win a championship as a head coach.

Frost won't go anywhere until his contract is up (2 more years/5 or 7 mill a year), and even then I doubt they dump him.
UNLESS the defense continues to suck AND they don't get a QB that can actually PASS the ball vertically.
Frost HAS to get rid of some of the assistants - even the ones he brought with him from CFU,
and even the one that was his best man at his wedding, who is his current DC.

I watched a good chunk of Ohio State and.... who was it they played today?
Listening to the announcers you would not know who Ohio State played, all I heard
all game long was announcers preaching to us how great Ohio State is - but the problem is,
they are not so good. I think if OSU was to play Bama, Clemson, even ND or Florida, they'd get beat.

And you didn't think the Gators could score on Bama? Of course, a loss is still a loss, but I'm generally satisfied with the result. With just a little more defense, we could have won the game, and hopefully that will come in the years ahead.

Well, it looks like they're going to get their chance to play one of those teams.....
