For Sale 2020 Corvettes

American supercars are the Vipers and Ford GTs IMO. Perhaps the Z06 version of the C8 as well. Mustang's and Corvettes arent really thought of as supercars. American muscle or American sports cars seems more appropriate.

 

Put the deposit down in June after I saw one in person.

Base C8 is a 1/10th of a second off your Pista 0-60. Pista bests it on the Nurburgring by a whopping 29 seconds but still, it's faster on the ring than the McLaren 570S. You can refuse to call a Corvette exotic and I'd agree, but it puts up supercar numbers. Period.

 

Yeah lots of bang for the buck for sure. As I said in another post it would be cool if they let you customize them a bit more to keep them unique when they hit full production.

 

I'm going the other way if my son will let me. Im tired of seeing vettes at c&c with wings and spoilers and air foils and then some old guy like me crawling out. The customization I want is a rear spoiler delete on the z51 package. I want the package without the completely useless (to me) bling.

PTS colors, wheel options, custom interior configs would be nice.

How many units will take delivery say in 2021?

I can tell you GoodWrench AC Delco isn't near that number of qualified mechanics. Many Chevrolet dealerships don't have a Factory Certified Corvette mechanic.

Who you're going to meet in service lane is the team doing warranty work on the Equinox. When the power seat fails or the back seat A/C outlet blows hot, or it needs an entire new steering rack.

GM is focused on rearmament of defense mechanised divisions. In the future they can return to passenger car space.

Corvette in 2020 is catching with the 1991 Acura NSX built 30 years ago. The technology is a marvel lined up next to the 2010 Cobalt.

I really liked the Chevrolet HHR. Very rare car....Looks like a Bonnie & Clyde getaway machine.

it's just corvettes we are talking about here. I was in the market of SA. Premium for a 5 years old SA, of course. Premium for a new corvette, lol. Those who are rich enough and don't care about paying premium for Ferrari likely would not care about a Corvette to begin with.

Actually I specced my first Ferrari and paid for 10k below msrp at a dealership. But of course that car was a california T. The dealer was smart and I ended buying two more.

 

TBH, Ferrari dealer service is nothing to boast about. I'll take Chevy, Ford, VW, Porsche service any day over what Ferrari offers.

I'll take our wonderful independents around here over them all, but I do have to say James Pollack and Ferrari of Washington really have a great service operation these days.

Not everywhere

 

It would be a cool idea to have some "special" colors and options especially for the Z06.

 

The reason black paint looks so milky on so many newer vehicles is because they don't put lead in paint anymore. Lead is what makes motorcade black look so rich.

 

and maybe they will. They've already announced 3 wing choices. I think there will be a looong options list (like Porsche $$ ) or 'packages', mild to wild.

I'm hearing the 2020 Corvette RWD torque conversion linkage engineering took place at Rockwell Automation.

 

You obviously have never driven a C8. It is a Supercar! We took delivery last week...
