Elton was FOUR seconds off Rossi's time.
As much as it pains me, that's pretty good too
Yep, and yep.

Rossi had a few s little spins while finding the limit, Elton smashed the tucking things to bits.... big difference. What a wanker
Ferrari today have poured rather a lot of cold water on the idea of Eltons ******** about being hired.... he didn’t even meet camillieri, and the event itself was a SOCIAL event, involving many many people, not some secret one to one as he intimated. The guy is a lying little prick, and ferrari won’t fall for the ********. We know full well that it is the Mercedes car and it’s organisation behind it that is the power..... not a jumped up dope. Elton is a fast driver as we all agree, but he is no leader of men, no skilful pilot who is able to think while he drives (as demonstrated regularly whenever there is a problem, needing constant coaching to change the settings bottles, and Rosberg before him, were capable of making without any coaching at all), certainly not a team player unless he is winning, disloyal and whinier than the average pom!, and incapable of building a team like Michael did as no one would be fooled into thinking Elton gives a **** about the team. He was lucky enough to be the only out of contract top driver in 2013, and lucky that Mercedes decided that their strategy was to have a team focussed on ONE driver, while their marketing claimed equal treatment for two. Anyone looking at the body language and analysing their strategy saw through that crap in a second
Ferrari this year must either build Sebs confidence, make him happy to be alongside Charles, and find a way to support both without either feeling let down, or they must tell him he is gone at the end of 2020, and make him second fiddle to the youngster, as Charles is our future. This year, with a season under his belt like last year, and knowing that Seb is beaten in his mind, he will be limited only by the car. No doubt Mercedes will be champions this year again unless Ferrari or Renault make a significant shift (and the FIA don’t try to hobble either of them when they do to protect their favourite team), but when the regulations change, assuming Mercedes aren’t able to carry across too much to the new designs, then he is the man most likely to give us the titles.
Formula 1 bosses have revealed their top 10 drivers of the 2019 season with Lewis Hamilton top for the fifth season in a row.
We have put together our own top 10 for the 2019 campaign, where Hamilton also came out on top, but the likes of Sergio Perez didn’t make the team principals’ shortlist. They did, however, find room to fit in Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel, though, only just secured P5 with Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz close to dislodging the Ferrari driver.

Cyril Abiteboul, Christian Horner, Andreas Seidl, Guenther Steiner, Otmar Szafanauer, Franz Tost, Fred Vasseur, Claire Williams and Toto Wolff all took part with their individual scores remaining anonymous.
Ferrari’s Mattia Binotto did not take part.
The Formula 1 team principals’ top 10 is as follows:
1 Lewis Hamilton 169
2 Max Verstappen 146
3 Charles Leclerc 124
4 Valtteri Bottas 68
5 Sebastian Vettel 58
6 Alexander Albon 57
7 Carlos Sainz 55
8 Daniel Ricciardo 49
9 George Russell 41
10 Lando Norris 38
Yep, that all looks pretty good.
I'd probably swap the first 2
id have put the Mercedes drivers much lower, as it doesn’t take any skill at all to win with the best car on the grid by a country mile.... and neither did anything special at any time. Max on the other hand got results from a car that had no right to win anything and stuffed a decent teammate by a mile, leclerc dominated Sebastian Vettel, no mean feat even if he is going well off the boil
That list is on the money
Of course it is.... The guy in the car that was 1 second a lap quicker than all the others for the first half of the year wins when Ferrari trips over itself is the best driver. Makes sense.
Max is infinitely better.... He won in a car that had no right to win and smashed his team mates. 5 poles each to Mercedes? He's better how exactly?
I don't rate either driver, pair of wankers
Hamilton and Vettel
You should have been at Winton.
******** as usual
Aren’t you supposed to be in the mercf1 section with the rest of the trolls?
look out aircon, this guy lives in the mercf1 section and likes to post bull **** about Elton, then report anyone and everyone that argues with him, pretending he feels they are racists, sexists, anything really that can get someone into trouble. Don’t waste your time with him, he doesn’t realise yet the Aussie section hasn’t got the same mods, and he won’t get away with his bollocks for long
It’s a shame the changes this year are so small, and tyres-wise, they’ll be sure to make them suit the mercedes again. If bottles had a set of balls, he could demand parity and challenge Elton, but we know he won’t, so the title will be Eltons to lose, rather than anyone else’s .
Its about time Ferrari started making political statements, maybe sit out a few races next year, if the favouritism continues, to force the FIA to cease their constant support for merc.
