Beckett's kerb going back to previous years spec to prevent tyre collapse this weekend.
A new level of nausea https://www.carsales.com.au/editorial/details/lewis-hamiltons-latest-career-move-is-not-what-youd-expect-125474/
Pathetic. Also, I thought they said they were going to be using softer tyres this week in the hope of encouraging a 2 stop strategy. Now they’ve gone back on that as well? What a joke.
I read on one of the sites that after last weekend Pirelli have now decided to use HARDER tyres this weekend. May have been Pistonheads? Actually, I think it was on F1 official site.
I think you're right for once Quick question, when you select soft ride in the 355 do you notice if it soaks up the bumps any better ? Asking for a friend
I always have it in the softer setting unless I’m up in the hills driving like a proper enthusiast. Around town it soaks up the bumps really well - much better than any of my previous BMWs, actually, which tended to crash over things like train tracks etc. In the hills I put it in sport mode, but even that isn’t strictly necessary as the system will stiffen up automatically with more aggressive driving. However, the two modes are certainly not night and day. It’s pretty subtle.
Thanks, I've only driven 355s on the track and mine is so different to them I really have know eye deer about "normal" 355s
Agreed. Now it’ll just be another boring procession, without even the possibility of tyre drama to spice it up a bit. Most poor.
Nope - https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.pirelli-confirm-tyre-pressure-changes-and-strategy-expectations-for-second.26VNLwhtlBTTUFyPHoVh5n.html
