Cmon Rossi
How tough is this guy? https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/940258/1/honda-marquez-compromise-means-comeback-saturday
OH nice!! Just my type of Thread. Hi, I'm David. New to the site, new to Ferrari (Just bough my first - 85 308QV) My thread: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/first-ferrari-first-308qv-what-did-i-do.625931/#post-147347824 Been riding all my life (MX. / SX / Sportbikes / Track days / sport tourer). Both broken feet, Both wrist broken, Both shoulders separated, and Both ACL's surgerically replaced in both knees, and two broken ribs later, I stopped riding bikes (For Now) due to my career. Been Watching following MotoGP, AMA (now Moto America) and WSB for 20+ years. I'm a Rossi Fan (Cheering the old guy on) and absolutely despise MM93. Most all others I like and respect. I follow many GP threads on other forums as well. Not gonna lie. I laughed a little at MM once I knew he was mostly okay from the high side. Certainly hoping FQ, MV, AD, JM or one of the other greats when the title this year. As you were.......
Ha!! More like stupid I guess really. I'm in too long to quit now. Plus, not actually in Atlanta proper. Outside perimeter though. Little better.
No disrespect, but I don't understand why someone would "despise MM93". I think he has supernatural control - that save from the first time he lost the bike in turn 4 was amazing. Then his fightback was incredible to watch, total commitment every corner every lap. The highside was horrible and it was obvious he broke something. Very few sports benefit from the domination of one player or team and it was great to see Fabio win, but MM93 is an era-defining rider as was Rossi in his prime.
Lot of reason's really (mostly his on track crap he pulls and in testing) but mainly it's just a feeling about the guy. I just don't like his persona. Same reason I was never of fan of JLo until the very end after he'd been humbled a bit, matured, and then retired. Rossi was confident / cocky in a different way IMO. His personality was that of pure joy and love of racing. Just my take on the guy. We all have to have our Hero's and Villains.
Brilliant! as he was getting closer to the front he was starting to look a bit scrappy though, about half track from when he exited......red mist?
Obviously they drink different stuff to me. MM Crutchlow Rins all back on their bikes this week end. I've broken some bones over the years and I was fuched for months after ,just unable to do everyday things.
The old man proved he's still got it when the temps are cooler out. Held top stop in FP1 until MM snagged it with that draft down the straight. Also, proves that tire issue in the warmer temps is legit for him / his style / set up. MM didn't ride at all today. If he's smart, he won't ride / race tmrw. or Sun. Another get off, and he could do irreparable damage after this surgery.
