No, I believe they've realised that the mortality risk is now well contained by treatment, for countries that have achieved a measure of herd immunity.
The French CMO was interviewed a couple of weeks back and gave a very strong message that the country can go back to normal. No doubt you've seen the photos of cafes in Paris full of people again.
I don't know why our govt is obsessed with infections, they know how to treat people now. Let's face it, we're 6 or more months away, if ever, from a working vaccine and can't afford to repeat the clumsy lockdown strategy.

Pity about Rossi and the other Duke blokes,I don't get the multiple tyre degredation nowadays.
