Hi Pete.

I don't hate Lewis or dislike him personally, I don't even know him. I'm sure we would be best of friends if we ever met in person.

What I don't like is his constant moaning and poor me BS which I think is fake as hell. If he was more genuine, then I wouldn't have a problem with him. Vettel did the exact same thing when he was with Redbull winning all those WDCs all those years ago and I didn't like it either, but comes with the territory of being the #1 driver I reckon.

And this is why I don't believe deep down he wanted to come over and congratulate Max and Jos last night, he just lost his record 8th WDC after all, but his level headed Dad would have told him to go over and do it and I am glad that they both did because it was all very wholesome.

Here is an example a little like yours, just last week my little girls lost their Basketball grand final. They won every game all season, but lost the grand final by one point last week because more than half of their team was not there to play because they all went away for school holidays and they only had 4 plays on court with no subs lol.

Reckon my little ones wanted to shake the hands and congratulate the team that just beat them, which they have beat all season lol?

Nope, they had a little sook (like Max and Lewis) and only when Mum and Dad explained to them that they shouldn't act like sore losers and it's ok to lose sometimes etc etc , they went over to congratulate the other team and shake their hands.

Btw, I also didn't like the way Max behaved last week in Saudi when Lewis won that race, he didn't come over and congratulate Lewis and he didn't hang around for the podium celebrations which was piss poor IMO also.

I loved Sebs response after being told he won the most overtakes in the season “what’s the prize? A million jelly beans?”, while having a chuckle.

 

I couldn’t yell because the rest of the house was sleeping, so I just clapped 3 or 4 times really really loudly. My hands are still sore!
