    Last thread was over a year ago without specifics mentioned and so I’m wondering if anyone knows exactly what fully synthetic 10w60 is optimal for 599. There are pros/cons between different manufacturers. Anyone understand the detailed specs of a specific oil that’s optimal?

    Ferrari specified to us Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10w60
    -the shop in UK I ordered it from sold it to me without inventory… Can’t find it anywhere

    Pennzoil Ultra / Ultra Platinum / Platinum 10w60 isn’t available anywhere either, even the 5 gallon buckets are out of stock.

    I’m hesitant to buy just a random name-brand 10w60, so does anyone have reasoning between different manufacturers? Motul, Mobil 1, castrol, etc.

    I’m leaning towards Castrol Edge Supercar, but with zero reasoning behind it other than “supercar” is in the name…. Lol

    If not using the Shell, Pennzoil or QS which is all the same manufacturer I use the Liquid Molly 10/60 and do not forget the POA additive as well.

    I went with the Castrol Supercar 10w60. 12L, car will take ~11.7L engine oil then .8L additive.

    The Castrol Supercar is listed as approved for 812. It has ACEA A3/B4 and VW501 01/505 00 which covers the Fiat portion as well.

    I’m with millers cfs 10w60 without any additives for 80.000 km and now I need next oil change and it will be the same. Only first change at f service was shell.
