Ferrari is running with a compromised set-up too because of the porpoising. They are studying a new floor to fix definitively the problem in 3-4 races from now. Lot of potential to unlock either which is very promising for the red !
Very good point....I forgot about that. Didn't they bring a new floor in second test though that fixed it? If not and they're still compromised, that promises a lot given that Ferrari has many more hours for testing purposes than Red Bull and Mercedes. Early days still but maybe start baking that WCC and WDC cake...
The second floor was there to fix partially the problem. David Sanchez, head of Ferrari aerodynamicists said that they are studying a brand new floor to fix completely this problem and unleashing the full potential of the SF-75..( his words)
I wonder IF Ferrari have a "spicy" engine...just in case. I would advise them to have one if they don't.
Ah ok ! understood Ps : Wonder how many time we will have to wait before Horner and Toto start to talk about our mighty power unit ..
Well, the last time Ferrari's PU was in question was in 2019 when a whistleblower inside Ferrari leaked that Ferrari were "circumventing" the fuel flow filter. Word got out and Max stated (COTA 2019) that Ferrari was cheating and that's when Ferrari went downhill in 2020.
Wasn't that about the time Horner said Ferrari fuel smelled of grapefruit? Maybe this year it will smell of sour grapes.
Remember the engine had nothing to do with Hamilton’s performance in Brazil, all his fans here said so! It was all his amazing skill, that’s why last Sunday he blew away the rest of the pack from 5th....oh wait......
I wonder if Draft Kings has a bet on how many races it takes before the FIA deems the Ferrari power unit illegal again?
I'm really looking forward to the next race this weekend. I am anticipating even more close racing as the drivers get more experience behind the wheel of the new cars which must drive very different from last years cars. I'm sure there is a lot of analyzing by engineers and drivers that could result in a change in the pecking order...more so than recent years as the 2022's are such a big change.
