Red Bull with huge Oracle badging. No Honda badging which is sad. Matte finish paint . . . boring.

Looks a lot better then I expected, I actually like it

 

From the presentation, "Alot of changes before the first race". I do like the car alot better than the recent F1 contraptions. Hope they don't mess up the looks to bad over the season.

Maybe the best looking cars since 2007 or even back to 1993(pre high nose). We have had some really bad looking cars for way to many years now. This is a good break, although I don't think the less grip and big tires/wheels are going to go over to well with the drivers.

 

There is a small HRC sticker on the engine cover.

 

The car looks very clean, far away from the recent mess we have seen...me like it...just hope it's slower than the Ferrari!

 

...Now that they have an oracle as sponsor, they'll be hard to beat!

 

Not a big Larry fan. I'm guessing this may be a link to the sailing design relationship with Newey?

 

I don't know him well.

Do think his yacht Rising Sun is ****ing ugly.

 

This car is very much Honda still with that influence. They didnt leave.

Not really thinking much about the car overall as sooooooooooooooooooo much is changing in preparation for testing then final test is the real display of the new cars overall.

 

The air intake above the driver's head has a very funny shape, never saw something similar!

 

Is it really just a mock-up of the F1 launch car? Looking at the ground effects set up behind the front wheels...it almost looks a bit of a combination between barge boards and a venturi channel. Interesting (unless I just missed that detail on the base launch car)

EDIT: Just looked...the part is more prominent on the Red Bull because it has decals on it. It was a bit washed out on the F1 care because of the blacked-out lower section.

 

You can kind of tell by their vanilla interview answers. Horner was trying to give it some legitimacy, but killed it as soon as he said 'it won't look anything like this' (so to speak).

Max was like "meh...."

 

I like the new tire sizes.

Yes it's a mock up. Just about all will release only the mock up. Mclaren and Haas both release their actual product (of course hiding some stuff).

Max is a bit like "Kimi Jr"....he loves to race but doesn't like the b.s.
