I’ve got a 2023 ordered to replace my 22. Dealer told me today that they are only getting six (6) Raptor allocations for 2023 plus two (2) of the R versions. Last year they received 38! This is a fairly good sized major market dealer too. It’ll be interesting to see how difficult some cars are to get next year and how that impacts prices…

FWIW - I just bought my son an F150 today and the dealership had a new Raptor with $15,000 over ask on an $80K sticker. I told them I would buy it for sticker and they came back at $7,500.

My view as well...The Raptor R is IMO going to be the be all, end all of V8 trucks, and unsure if there'll be a petrol (gas) powered follow up. But 150K is a lot of money...totally different type of truck but that's Range Rover LWB Autobiography money. Lot of luxury in that...

I mean for 60K less you can get an F250 platinum with the 7.3, 4'' BDS kit, 37s, steel bumpers....and a whole lot of extra leg room...

Dealer allocations have no bearing on customer placed orders. Ford would rather customers build their vehicles now adays then just sending them to lots and hope they sell. This is going to be common place in the future, just like Tesla does it.

Then why don't they do it so you can buy online and don't have to go in to the dealer chaos?

Ford is slowly transitioning that way now, they intend to close 50% of the dealerships over the next 5 years. I order all my new vehicles, stop by the dealer, enter the info into the system and leave. My 2022 Raptor took less then 20 min at the dealer, I had all the info printed off from online on the build sheet for them. 2 months later go in with a check and pick it up.
