    Besides Super Vee, Bob Lazier also raced Formula B, Formula 5000, CART and Indy cars. I believe he ran the Indy 500 twice.

    yep, he was still racing vintage stuff into his late 70's too.

    I like the idea of Leader Circle for full season entries (top 20 IIRC), but it makes it harder for Indy only entrants to show up, which I think is part of why we had a late scramble to find a 33rd car.

    Pippa Mann did an interview a few months ago about why there were no women in the field this year and she said in the 8 entries she made in the 500, she only broke even once and that was a bit of a fluke. (she got a class podium in the N24 instead this weekend, and got paid to do it :p )
