Agree 100% - Usually Monaco rocks and Indy is a snoozefest- quite the opposite today-

Dragon tail! I congratulated Pagenaud a few months after he won Indy mentioning that expression of his and his polite smile became a carnivorous smile; that's what it takes in the final laps!

You know, I think I could actually listen to Crofty for three hours more easily than Diffy. At least there’s Brundle to clear the fog.

I still can't get over the pit lane mistake by Dixon. Did he do any post race interviews and address it?

The joys of Ganassi cars at a Penske owned track. :p

The pit lane closes as Palau approaches it.
Dixon finds the hot pit entrance is harder to stop on.
Then Ericsson's lead taken away by the red flag.

Seems every motor sport is dumping on the old masters.
Surprised O'Ward didn't comment on at least losing to a team that's been at it much longer than Arrow. ;)

    Post-race relegated to streaming. (Peacock)

Everybody seems to be pushing their "subscription" services.

Part of the issue is I don't have anything mainstream.

I quite literally have a digital antenna, SlingTV, and motortrend +

I don’ t have cable at the cottage, streamed the race (after looking around for quite a while) and got Sky with Max Chilton. It was nice but they used the NBC feed mostly.

who was the last driver to win the 500 who didn’t take a karting/formula car path to Indy? (Europe, Brazil or America)

    he did karting and Atlantics

Buddy Lazier was a road racing guy but not sure if he did karts/open wheel. All I can find is some Can Am and sports car stuff

good question. I know Bob ran Super Vees, not sure if Buddy did (wouldn't be surprised if he did, a lot of his contemporaries did-at one point SCCA FV was a part of the unofficial ladder system! Michael Andretti, Al Jr, etc)
