Sold 2022 Rolex Daytona 116518LN Oysterflex NEW Complete Set

While a few people might have an immediate need to purchase a watch like this, say for a birthday, anniversary or other significant event, most people do not have an immediate need, and what I was seeking confirmation of or contrary opinion, is that prices for these kinds of watches seems to be falling. So while the asking price might be fair today, doesn't it make sense to wait 6 to 12 months and see if prices continue to fall. It wouldn't make sense to wait if we are at the bottom of the cycle now, and prices will rise in the next few months.

 

My view is that if you are worried about 2k to 3k then you shouldn't be looking at this watch anyways. These watches wont drop too far they are still very difficult to get new.

 

I'm not willing to pay 7.5% over market price on anything I buy!

 

Well, if $2K or $3K is of no consequence, then let the seller eat the 2 or 3K and lower the price. Why do you expect the buyer to be the only one for which 2K or 3K is nothing?

 

I don't expect anything, my point is that if your in the marker for a 40k watch it shouldn't matter. Moreover the prices aren't gonna change much so just sit and wait and maybe someday you find a bargain or you can enjoy in that time-frame.

 

Man, it’s impossible to sell stuff on here. So much noise on a listing for a guy that’s being transparent and has a pretty good price

For reference, I posted three cars here on Fchat and got this same reaction, a lot of people talking and arguing and all three cars sold within two weeks within 3 percent of ask

So don’t be unnerved

This watch is great , if I hadn’t picked up several late last year , I would be a buyer

If my 2022 bonus was not in limbo due to funding % I would have already bought this- And if/when it comes through depending on amount I might still if it's available- Which is/should be doubtful- Phenomenal watch at a reasonable price from an obviously ethical and transparent seller.

 

Per my last post- I should <hopefully> know what my bonus is <or isnt> this week- BY NO MEANS would I ask or expect you to hold this- but if it is what I should be I will PM you and perhaps put a purchase together- I have a 116520 Daytona as well as Batman and super-unique circa 1995 Datejust- Yours is my "grail" watch other than Platona and frankly even more desirable because completely different than my Daytona- I'm very surprised this is still available- Perhaps meant to be- More to follow- Cheers
