Change of color for the Scuderia in 2023 as hinted by this color scheme launch date. Scarlet Red(Marlboro red) has been used since 1997 with PMI. 2023 looks to be Cardinal red. (darker color)
I think that´s just to reflect the matte paint they´re using in F1 better. The Sport Prototipo is still "Marlboro" red (I´ve never got why they say that the brighter red was for Marlboro: the "Marlboro red" actually is darker than the "Ferrari red").
I'd love to think that I could go into the city on Feb 11 and see the Alpha Tauri launch, but I'm sure it's going to be at some limited/exclusive event as part of Fashion Week.
I wish I could sense something to be more excited about. Right now I'm guessing Hamilton gets his 8th WDC, Max falls back to second, Russell is third. Leclerc is 5th or 6th and Sainz is 10th.
Update: 3/2 Red Bull 6/2 Williams 7/2 Alfa Romeo 11/2 Alpha Tauri AT04 13/2 Aston Martin AMR23 13/2 McLaren 14/2 Ferrari 15/2 Mercedes W14 16/2 Alpine A523
Am I the only one here that would like to see a car launch with the car at the front of a missile and gets launched with flames coming out of the back of the missile ?
Is this indicative of all the excitement about the new season? What are the testing dates? Is that the only real seat and track time going into the season? Or are we just racing warmed over versions of last year's cars, and nothing is really going to change? If everything is done in simulators, why not just race them? And new watch ambassadors signed? Helmet designs? Are grid girls coming back? Any news at all?
