I understand the "Casa Ferrari" (Ferrari Australasia suite) and the Zagame Automotive suite will be close to double that in 2023.
Trying to get tickets was a PIA this year. Totally new system... I thought the whole 'tokens' (which you had to buy) for pre sale priority was just a scam so I waited until they went on sale to the general public. No seat selection option, only 'best available' in the stand you select. I logged on 15 minutes earlier both last Tuesday and yesterday and by the time I was let out of the queue, no more 4 day Grandstand passes left (I was only trying to buy 2) I find it hard to believe that in the first 10 minutes over two Tuesdays, all Granstand seats have been sold out. I bought some GA tickets as a back up before they sell out too Hopefully there will be a "more Grandstand tickets available" email from AusGP soon...
I've come up with a foolproof plan Dan ...... 1. put my best pair of running shoes on 2. stand at entrance 6 3. monitor the tickets around people's necks 4. when I see a 4 day grandstand ticket pull gun out 5. shoot holder of ticket 6. run like hell (that was the American method )
For Sat and Sun, yes... I'm still hopeful there will be a 'final release' of more tickets leading up to the event (I missed out on Grand stand tickets) but I'm not holding my breath As of tomorrow, ticketmaster will have a 'fan to fan' section where all the ****s who bought tickets just to make money can sell them at a profit...
That's what a friend of mine told me but found hard to believe,, Albert park is massive,, how could they possibly sell all of that out?? That Drive to Survive doco has had an huge influence on ticket sales,, Singapore was the same thing
Drive to Survive had made a huge difference in selling F1 to the masses. My daughters are all over the socials. They told me they’re seeing more posts about F1 now than they ever have. I’ve never had a problem buying tickets in the past, but I got caught out this year….
Metallica just released another new album two weeks ago JM. They started selling concert tickets for their 2023/2024 world tour, all sold out within minutes as usual. Tickets ranged from US $180 right up to US $4400 for the VIP enhanced experience. You can't re-sell those VIP enhanced experience tickets because they are in your name, but I have seen people already re-selling their 'regular' tickets to these sold out shows for huge money. A US $180 ticket in the nosebleed section people are paying up to US $600. I've also seen a US $320 ticket going up to $1020. One of the "Snakepit" passes that was normally US $1400 re-selling for US $2500+ It's disgusting and makes me ****en sick. It's a shame they just don't sell them at the door many hours before the show starts, so you can pay the regular asking price at the gate, the show is always going to be a sellout, so they don't have to worry about filling those stadiums. Nope, take everyone's multimillions of dollars 2 years before the shows start and cash in on investing it and make even more money the daaaaaaaaaawgs! Look at how happy they are taking all my money..............
Indeed it has - I see a lot of teenage girls around the city wearing Ferrari F1 inspired jackets of late, much to my surprise.
That's great, Liberty Media Corp has definitely taken F1 to the masses since taking over! ****s it for those who want GP tickets but.
