Hi gang! For over two decades now, some of us here have been running in the International Fantasy Grand Prix F1 series. We're looking for a few more folks for this season -- or we're looking for a LOT more folks, and we'll set up a second division. The rules *look* intimidating, but it's actually pretty simple: with a budget of $50 million, pick 5 drivers, one chassis, one motor, and a sponsorship package. Fantasy points are based on real-world points, and winning generates cash for driver/chassis/motor upgrades. To see how this budget works out, you can play with the calculator: https://www.ifgpf1.com/tools/qk2023.html Full rules are available from the main page: https://ifgpf1.com/wiki2/ or directly at https://ifgpf1.com/wiki2/index.php?title=2023_Rules Teams are due by Wednesday March 1. You can reach me at ifgpf1 [at] gmail [.com] or via PM here. We play for pride and bragging rights. It's truly an international league, with folks from England, Spain, Japan, South Africa, USA, and Texas. If you're interested, please let me know. Hopefully some existing player will give some reviews on here. I'll fully admit the website needs help Thanks, T
Weird, I updated the link in the post but it didn't update the actual link? Here's the actual link to the calculator, and I will summon a mod https://www.ifgpf1.com/tools/qk2023.html Regarding the sponsorship package, it's a strategy thing. Two choices: 1) play it safe, get a full year package, but have a lower amount available for drivers & components at the start of the season 2) Get a half-season and a higher amount available at the beginning of the season, but hope to have enough available at mid-season from race winnings to be able to pay again. Splitting the sponsorship costs more as well.
A bump -- the team lineups are due tomorrow midnight Central time https://ifgpf1.com/tools/qk2023.html
