My brand new 296 is plugged in and the car is now emitting a beep every 30 seconds. The charger has 1 blue light flashing so per the manual that means it’s connected to the vehicle. No error messages on dash. Anyone know what the beep means?

No, unless it's telling you it's fully charged. Maybe switch to long charging mode and see if that stops the beep.

My car is probably a revision before yours so it may be that you the beeping is a new "feature" but mine doesn't do this at all. I would suggest you power off your charger for ten seconds or so and then switch it back on. You should see both LEDS on the charger light up blue. You should also see the spinning car on the dash display. You could also check the app to make sure it says "maintaining" but note that I have seen that on the app and the car was actually discharging itself so take what the app says with a pinch of salt!

Is apparently the one blue light does not ensure the charger is connected to the car. I have a 2024 GTB that is stored at a friends house due to lack of room in my garage. I only recently was able to get the "my connect" feature on the ferrari app to connect to it. When I did it told me the battery was in a critical state and needed to be charged. Called my friend to check the car was plugged in and found out it wasn't connected all the way. but the charger had one blue light flashing. After it was reconnected the app showed charging and after one day was up to 100% again. The interesting part is that the car was not plugged in for greater than 6 weeks but still had 60% of high voltage charge on it. So it appears that not plugging in the car for a long period of time is not as critical as I thought. Of course I still plan to keep it properly plugged in but it was interesting to find out what happens if it's not.
