Strangely I think Dan will perform well because he is back with people he feels comfortable with and they understand him You don't forget how to drive MB made sense for SAI
You drive on muscle memory and reflexes at this level, both of which deteriorate with age. At 35 you're on the downhill slope of reaction times. Alonso is the exception for the moment, but even he would be slower than Max in the same car.
I've been meaning to tell you whomos, read Gunther Steiner's book "Surviving to Drive". It's laugh out loud funny, full of interesting facts and behind the scenes gossip. Foking brilliant!
Apparently 48 years ago there were 3 Aussies in F1. Rob was at the races that year, so he can confirm. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Came home re 5am after night shift. Was planning on sleeping then watching the race this arvo, but instead thought **** it I’ll pour a scotch and watch now. WOOOHOOO! Brilliant race! Wish I was there.
Oscar is the real deal and I always think he is going to do well NOR is hopeless as a race driver, Oscar has schooled him too often for it to be a fluke
Any thoughts on why Max has dropped off the pace in the last 3 or 4 races? Before that he and RB were just dominant. Is there 1 or 2 things the other teams have done to close the gap? More HP? Better aero? Suspension?
I'm sure the "experts" on the Sky commentary team will know. RB should hire Karun, Naomi, Croft, etc. They're all equally clueless.
Wasn't it enjoyable watching the race without the clueless, shouty commentary of David Croft? The fat idiot is on his honeymoon.
