Who would have ever thought a pickup would cost $130k. I’ve had a couple of ‘20 Raptors. Love these and this one is soec’d very nicely. glws
This is my 6th Raptor, but first R. It is shocking in general how all of them have increased. My first one was a 2017 (V6 Ecoboost) & the MSRP on that was $68,XXX, then my most current ecoboost is a 2023 which had an MSRP of $92,000. I will never not own a Raptor as a daily vehicle; I just learned I personally desire a Raptor with 35’s & not 37’s. Personal preference.
The difference is roughly 15” between the two. The G65 is [very] narrow and the Raptor has got to be the widest 1/2 ton truck on market. The wife loves her G65 & G63, I love my Raptors (Still have my 2023 Ecoboost)
Having had 2 ‘20 Raptors (one being Goosetuned and the other being a Hennessy 600), I love them too. They are everything you need. Practical, Apple CarPlay, heated and cooled seats, B&O stereo, comfort, performance…..everything. I just get tired of bouncing on 35” balloons after awhile. Great trucks though for sure! Again, your spec is fantastic! glws
I have the same truck but a 2023. It is has comic book superhero like proportions. I love mine. great trucks, GLWS!!
Haven’t been tracking if still above msrp at dealerships. Shouldn’t be given the state of the car market.
if you run a quick search, you will quickly find you cannot, unless you opt for a unit with double or triple the mileage. Brand new units still show to be a minimum $20,000 above MSRP. With that said, the 2024 Raptor R is more desirable than the 2025. Ford seemingly continues to remove features as new MY’s roll out, all while increasing the MSRP. Makes no sense. The biggest notable improvement for the 2024 R vs 2023 R is the 20 additional horsepower (720hp vs 700hp), Heads up Display, Upgraded Shocks offering a more comfortable ride & Exterior facelift. Current trade in range I have received from dealers is between $119,000-$123,000. Though I am not interested in trade in with those dealers due to no interest in the inventory they currently have on lot. I am open to discussing a trade, if you have something I find myself interested in. Feel free to PM, if are interested in this route. With all said, I am also open to offers. Worst I can say is, no.
Depends on location, they can be bought at or just below in certain markets. In others they still do really well.
Your correct, some dealers are still trying to gouge the public. I know where two are brand new both for sale for MSRP
I owned a '22. They are fantastic road trip cars. Probably the most comfortable vehicle I've ever owned. Their resale has really been hit hard.
Not the best picture as it is a screen shot from a video. But talk about a riot!! Highly recommend this truck if anyone is curious. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And even between towns in Texas. I live in an oil patch town of 13,000. Last month there was a Raptor, a Raptor R and a Ranger Raptor on the same lot. 20 miles away at the county seat (same pop) a Ranger Raptor. Contemporaneously. That speaks volumes about availability of those type of vehicles out in BFE. The Ranger in my town started off at +$2500. Now -$1800. The ol' supply-demand thing.
