IMO if you are not going to do anything at the NFL combine, you should either not attend, or they should just revoke your invite/not allow you back in the building. I already really don't like this Caleb Williams clown, his whole schtick reminds me of the LaVar/LaMelo Ball fiasco from 9 years ago. 'They say' how great he is, I guess I don't see it: I saw a guy run around and improvise - something you can't do in the NFL because you will be KILLED, but he's supposed to be better than Mahomes. I guess we will see. And it's funny how Bo Nix and Michael Penix have fallen off the radar at seasons' end...
Where do you think Russel Wilson ends up? he should go to the Panthers. Let Bruce young sit behind him for a year Also, I agree with you on Caleb Williams…. Hate his personality and he has bust written all over him.
Russell has made a LOT of money, he doesn't need it. If *I* was Russ, I'd try to go to Vegas, so his entertainer wife Ciera can get back into show biz. BUT - If he WANTS to get back to a SB, he needs to be in the NFC, not the AFC, so that may rule out Vegas. Carolina is not going to do crap for at least 3 more years, and I personally would never want to play for that jackass owner regardless of the pay (If I was Russ). New England is not a good fit for him, and I'm not so sure Minnesota is, either. Atlanta is the best place for HIM, if Vegas is not an option. He may end up in Pittsburgh, and I bet his wife won't like it.
Any team would be insane to try have Wilson on their roster. He's a known ****ty teammate and sure seems to live in his own reality. He will not be good teacher.
He's a super bowl champ that you could sign for the veteran minimum.... the salary cap situation alone makes him a huge asset. Any team would want him as a back-up at least to teach their new young guy..... Unless Russ insists on being the starter for the shot at redemption
I beg to differ. I don't see him as a 'teacher' at all. And you can only sign him at the 'veteran minimum' if HE allows you to, which I am sure he would - want to stick it to Denver. He seems to be one of the rare guys that let his first big contract go to his head, Dan Patrick used to have him on 'all the time', and he sounded like a great, well-grounded guy, until he got the $$$. Also, he seems to have been a great guy - until he caught a teammate screwing his first wife. The teammate was traded a week later.... I KNOW it's hard to retire from something you have been doing basically ALL of your life, but he has a SB, 9 Pro Bowls, one All-Pro, a crapload of money: time to retire and support his wife in her endeavors, and enjoy a healthy life, and not get killed like Peyton and Brees have been (noodle arms)
I forgot about the cheating wife story.. that was wild. And yea all that “Mr. Unlimited” stuff and the ‘broncos country lets ride” was cringy also.
I've only seen a few guys go totally whacko when 'big money' was at-hand, Le'Veon Bell was one for sure, Chad Johnson... Did Laveon even last a year in NY? As far as cheating wives go, NOBODY beats Steve Nash's ordeal, I still feel so sorry for him...
