As expected, the most boring race of the year. F1 tried to add some interest by forcing a second pitstop and in it's first year it left fans wondering how it will play out. But we soon saw teams exploit the regulation by slowing down to give their teammate a free pitstop. There was absolutely no racing and it's hardly even worth talking about.

McLaren won because they started on pole

Ferrari got 2nd, and it shows why Leclerc was disappointed to qualify 2nd.

Red Bull got 4th. Waited till the end for a red flag, made no difference to their result in the end.

RB was the first to exploit the regulation by slowing the field down and protecting a position. Amazing day in points finishing 6th and 8th, fair play I suppose. Doesn't mean their tactic should be applauded.

Haas got some points with Ocon. Pretty impressive.

Williams did the same thing as RB.

Mercedes lost the plot. I think Russell should have got a 10 second penalty as he was just exploiting F1's nonsense and horrible rules that are completely inconsistent.

Alpine got TV time with Gasly's wreck. Crazy he didn't park the car immediately.

    Sauber drove in a race.

Aston Martin was all set to score Alonso's first points of the year and his bad luck continues.

Driver of the Day: Nobody. You have to race to earn that award.

That was a sprint race, right? After lap 36, it was over. Nice push by Leclerc at the end but pointless.
Alpha Tauri's antics (what's their name this year?), ala Haas in 2024, pretty much sealed the
outcome of any strategy for those behind Slawson. It was sad to see Sainz also causing a train effect.

What else can you say? No action at the front, no action (whatsoever) at the back.

That sucked! I’m definitely going to go fishing during that race next year. My entire family fell asleep during that one. The race was qualifying. Driver of the day was Russell! He told F1 what he thought about the racing. F1 told Russell to F off and gave him a drive through penalty. The only thing that would have made Monaco great is if Antonelli would have kept the position after he cut the chicane to pass and also got a drive through penalty instead of give the place back. I amateur race because I hate doing parade laps at track days. I can’t imagine how much pro F1 drivers must hate racing monaco.

Are the drivers not involved in the rule changes? It seems they are not. Treated more like toddlers in a sand pit.

I watched much of this race (procession?) because I enjoy the scenery of Monaco. The overhead views of the marina are impressive. I just want to have a rowboat in the marina. :) I'm exaggerating for effect, but if the cars get any bigger they won't fit through the hairpin turns.

Absolute snooze fest. Let's see if the size reduction of the 2026 regulations are going to help at all. I personally doubt it.

"Post-race analysis" is a misnomer after the Monaco GP. Lol :)

    What race ? :D That was a parade, a procession !

Monaco surely deserves the Accolade for the Worst GP of the Year.

It was only possible due to Max slowing down Lando. But, if Lando had made a mistake due to the pressure would it have been pointless?

comedy sized F1 cars of today certainly don't help, but you can find quotes from Graham Hill, Clark, etc complaining about it being hard to pass at Monaco in the 1960's

Monaco has almost never been a good race, but it's not supposed to be. it's a yacht party with F1 cars instead of a band :)

I watched Monaco, Indy and part of NASCAR yesterday and enjoyed them all for different reasons.

If you (they) want a good F1 race in Monaco:: take "2 meters and 200 Kg" from the cars.
