Very cool to see a 206 up for sale. Not to salt anyone's game but having bought an early car that needed a ton of work to make it concours quality, this is going to require a shedload of work to make it great. If you assume it needs almost everything (and I think that is a fair assumption given the pictures), your restoration will cost you well over $100K (on top of purchase price). Finding original parts assuming many have been swapped is going to be challenging and in some cases, very expensive.

I love Dinos and it would be cool to have another 206GT in the US. By numbers this is the 25th 206GT produced. If someone wants a really complete 206GT and you don't want to wait for a car that somebody already spent the motherload on, then just know what you are getting into.

    Cheers...Keith

I agree.........now at $60,000....more than 100k to fix it right....I added up my receipts from Mr. Sweeny who restored my 206 nut and bolt from 1991-1993 and it was $30k from McCann for the drive train and $60k for the body and rest of it....at $45 per hour. I paid 120k and am very happy.....car looks and runs as new. This car is a nut and bolt project and shouldn't be taken lightly.....Gregg Blue 206 GT 00350

I have seen the ID of the buyer before when i've been bidding for Dino related stuff on E-bay, so perhaps he already owns a 246 and is increasing his stable! and perhaps he is a current F-chatter and he's saying "hark at that gossip Nerodino"
