Aloha..check it out http://www.goodingco.com/auction/index.php?page=product&pid=74 $190-230k estimate and a normal GT $130k We'll see what happens...this car has a reserve.....a few others don't. Aloha from Maui Gregg #00350 206 GT (My car below is NOT going up for auction) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This will be an interesting auction. Based on the comments mr. massini has recently made about 206's, I would think the auction range isn't unrealistic, but will "The Economy" once again foil a result? I hope it doesn't
GLAD to hear it's not yours, Gregg! Sounds like a well documented ownership trail......very nice! It's Rosso Dino!!!!! But it IS orange! LOL!
Aloha The asking price in Europe for 206's is in the 170k Euro range...$238k USD The last one sold this year at Ferrari Auction in Maranello went for around $200 k USD and from the photos had a few originality issues when I looked at some of the parts. If you want to buy an honest 206 GT good luck......the shift knob is wrong on this one,,,the rest looks pretty much stock. Time will tell..... Gregg
Some details are also not original on this 206, just from what is visible on the pictures: -prancing horse badges on front hood and back lid -front light glasses look flat like non Carrello -back lights without reflectors (from GT4 or daytona) -Bumpers from 246, 206 are smaller But I don´t want to make a rare nice Dino bad, on mine are also some things not original.
He said he knew of a buyer or two that were on the market to spend $300k for an excellent car. He posted in one of the other threads about values in the vintage section.
Dino Club.... The photos on this thread are my car, not the one to be auctioned. Click on the link to see the other 206 Gregg
