All of the 208 motors had 2-valve heads so I severely doubt they'd work on a QV motor.

OTOH, if you had a 2-valve 308 motor, it could possibly fit.

From that picture the intake manifold under the intercooler looks completely different. It looks like the front bank comes around to the back and the back comes up tot he front, doesn't it? Although the holes might be able to wind up in the same spots as a 308 carb or CSI manifold, they certainly wouldn't have to. You'd have to get the intercooler and the manifolds under it as well (assuming they are seperate pieces).

Another option is am considering is putting an air to air intercooler in the trunk, simular to the Panteras A/C condenser w/ fan. The issue is then how to vent to the outside? Maybe a screen in the back like the 360C? I do not have a issue cutting a few holes in the back of the car. Thoughts?

I should mention that my trunk is already stripped to bare metal in is being used as a quasi cold box.

Are you running a turbo application? From the picture above it looks as if you are not. You should at least add some insulation to your trunk. Being surrounded by an engine bay and muffler on two sides doesn't sound like much of a "cold box".

Currently the car is NA. I plan to add twin turbos in the near future - that's why I'm asking questions about an intercooler. I have twin Supertrapps coming straight out to handle the exhaust, so there is not that much heat coming up from the bottom (as compaired to a stock exhaust). Insulating the trunk from the engine compartment makes sense. I have the original fiber glass shell that I can reuse with some reflective insulation.

I love the Supertrapps. Do you have them tuned quiet...?
    ?
You also need a sticker for your coolent expansion tank,,,,
I got the type "R" sticker,, adds 3 HP.
    ;)

    Are you sure?

the picture shows the intercooler of the gts/gtb turbo ( so without the "208" in the name) This engine was based on the 328 engine so 4 valves could be present.

No, the turbo-intercooled GTB/GTS model (with the 328-style body) has a two-valve engine.

I have a meth/alcohol injection system as an intercooler.

Very efficient at cooling the intake charge.

All it is, is a small injector in front of the t-body.
Of course with a tank, controller, and pump in the trunk.

No intake restriction and the turbo is mounted very close to the intake manifold for better throttle response and quicker spool up.
Turbocharged drag racers been using these systems for years.

    Google search- AEM meth injection

Just a suggestion and worth considering in a tight application.
If your running an electronic engine management system and have total control of your timing, you may not need an intercooler at all. Lower boost, advanced timing.
Under 10psi and charge doesn't build enough heat for the intercooler to efficiently work, anyway. Only acts as a restriction.
    Love the car, btw.

I am running the Electromotive TEC3. Can you PM me your ignition/ MAP advance table? I would be most interested in seeing how you handled your timing under boost.

    thanks,
    Paul
