    I'm doing Texas to Monterey... but I want to be there by mid-day on Thu 12th to see the tour come through Carmel... and be settled in Thu evening for an early rise on Friday for the Concorso Italiano. To do that, I'll have to leave before the 10th... since I'm not looking for long painful drives... but rather fun scenic ones.

    Any chance you can leave the 9th?

    Others headed to Monterey interested in a 10th departure or a 9th departure (from Texas)?
