Isn't every car from Europe, Japan, Korea, including Ferrari, Maserati, ect considered an import ?
First thing I thought with an "Import Section" was 2Fast 2Furious blinged and winged Integras, Corollas, and Jettas.
LamborghiniChat.com -----> Import Maserati -----> Import Other Italian -----> Import American Muscle -----> NOT Import British -----> Import Porsche -----> Import FerrariChat.com -----> Import Import
The whole "import" word is made up in the US and defines riceboxes. Renaming this section "Made in Asia" would be more appropriate and would be quite... umm.. provocative.
Why is it that all other sections are just "Import" and "British" but for American it is "American Muscle?" Shouldn't it be just "American?" And instead of "Porsche", just "German?" Forums are categorized by county, some by type, and some by brand name. It is not consistent and unorganized. They should just stick to one type of category to define the forums.
Provocative, yes. By renaming the section "Made in Asia", it would not include many Japanese vehicles: Nissans, Toyotas, Hondas, and more. For example: 1993 Accords of trim levels DX, LX, EX, and 10th Anniversary were all built in the US. The SE models (highest trim level), both coupe and sedan, were built in Japan. So therefore, only SE models could posted in a "Made in Asia" section. The rest would require a "Made in the USA" counter-section.
If you want it that specific, a lot of GM, Ford and Chrysler cars are made in Canada or Mexico, which while are a part of America are not a part of the USA...
