after 14 months of Being in the shop, 21918 is finally home. Why so long? First it went in for abnormal behavior. Through out the rpm range it was running very rough. Since I am not mechanical I brought it to the local shop. Luckily(or unluckily) Andy is a perfectionist and would not let the car leave without it being just right. This car is far from stock and that was most of the problem. The other. Problem was I live most of the time in another country. So car went through two Engine outs, so many new parts internally and a new ignition system. Now, the 308 pulls through the whole rpm range and is (quoted by Andy Falbo) the fastest naturally aspirated 308 he has ever driven. A lot of that is due to the ignition system, 44s, and hotter cams. Now I know why these cars are so fun to drive. Even in 100 degrees, the car was flawless. Absolutely beautiful 308 Jason! My memory is failing but is this the Lee majors 308? Big congrats on getting her home!
I thought about the 44s but everyone tells me to stay away from them. I already have the pistons and the exhaust, I'm thinking carbs and cams and I'll be screamin hot!
She looks great! 14 months is a very long time. You got some driving time compensation to do. Sent from my SM-G950F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
