How long do I need to let the car sit inside after a coat of 22ple? Last time I did this I had another car I used to the five day cure time.

It can be driven or washed after 8-12 hours. The full cure and final look take 5 days.

not supposed to get wet for at least 5 days.

you can drive it after 8 hours cure time (or less if using an IR light to cure)

Not sure where you are getting that from:

    VX1 Signature Glass Coat 50ml

    From the above link:

    6. Tact time (do not wash car or expose the car to open weather elements...rain, snow etc) is around 8~12 hours.

    7. After this initial curing time, the car can be washed or driven per normal.

    8. The full curing time is about 5 days, at which time the full layer of the coat will be hardened and the surface will look its best.

most coatings and clear bras carry a "dont get wet or wash with soap" statement for a period of 3-5 days...

    colder climates, longer
    hotter climates, shorter

Not trying to argue with you...

I have been told by many people, installers, manufactures that its best to wait 3-5 days before soaping down a car.

if you use an IR light to cure the coating, you can wash after 24 hours. If you dont, and its cloudy and gloomy out over on the east coast and temps never get above 10 degrees in the winter, then the coating will take longer to cure completely, therefore you shouldnt wash the car. kind of like painting a car...fully baked, its ok to seal it, not completely baked, then it needs to outgas and that takes a little time...heat helps

I advise all my clients not to wash the car for at least 3 days either after a clear bra install, or a coating application as it will have a negative effect on the coating/bra curing process.
