"Speeding To A Cure", the 3rd annual Rally and Summer Party in the Hamptons will once again be hosted by Ron & Denise DelGaudio at their home in Sagaponack on Saturday, July 31. In 2003 this event raised over $85,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. ALL proceeds from this event will go directly to diabetes research. Your contribution of $150 per person will allow you to participate in a Ferrari-Maserati rally and procession of Ferrari and Maserati cars to the DelGaudios home where the cars will be displayed on the lawn. Over 75 cars are expected. From 12:00 - 6:00 there will be cocktails, hors d'ouevres, entertainment, and an elaborate buffet. For tickets and/or additional information contact Hope Clements at JDRF. Phone 212-478-4318 or e-mail [email protected] - This is a great opportunity for everyone at FerrariChat.com to get together for a good time and support the important work of this charitable organization.

Who wants to lend me their Ferrari for the day? Ha ha...I actually have access to a 73 Dino in Amagansett that I may use to join you all out there (not that there's anything wrong with my P-car). This is a great event...or so I've heard.

Damn! As a Diabetic I would love to do this. But, alas, lack of F-car and time keeps me out.

    Oh well....

I remember this event and it looked like A LOT of fun. I really wish I could make it, since I have wanted to go to that one for over a year now. Let me know how it turns out.

I have spoken with Hope and Kim at JDRF and they are very grateful for the response all of us at FerrariChat.com are generously making to my original post. JDRF regrets that they do not have an online secure website for processing credit card orders, perhaps next year. As mentioned in follow up posts above, you can call and order tickets directly from JDRF by credit card. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on the 31st. Sincere thanks. Craig.
