    seriously, anyone know a service that will set up web cams for 24/7 coverage like a reality show so you could take the footage and edit it into a 1 hour or 30 min segment?

    I know of daycare cam services that do online viewing, but not sure how to actually capture the footage then go through it all.

    Yes, there are a few. But, what are the business requirements/environment that you are looking for? PM if needed.

    Some aren't cheap. One at work monitors several doors and is motion-recorded-activated. In other words, the cams are always on and always there, but the recordings are set to a particular time when a particular part of the viewing area changes. You can go back and search and even save the stuff. Holds about 4-5 months in ~40gigs of space.

    would be a private residence. not porn! so the "cam on when someone walks in" would be good as for the most part most rooms would be dead and it would stink to have someone follow them around all the time.
