From just a regular ticket to the VIP Ferrari experience-this is the 50th year anniversary. Also there is an FCA event going on as well, with full track day following the event.

Check out the official Ferrari email below:

Join Ferrari at Daytona 24 with Exclusive VIP Hospitality Package

Join Ferrari for the 50th anniversary Rolex 24 at Daytona as five Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am racecars hunt for the GT win. The Ferrari VIP Hospitality Package puts you in the heart of the action in an exclusive Turn 1 suite.

The VIP Hospitality Package also gives you the Ferrari Team Experience with Risi Competizione, the Houston-based team campaigning two 458 Italia Grand Ams with an all-star driver lineup. The number 62 Risi car will be driven by former F1 drivers and reigning European Le Mans Series champions, Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni as well as Indy car driver Raphael Matos. The number 63 vehicle will feature Ferrari GT car regular Toni Vilander as well as Ferrari test driver Andrea Bertolini and five-time ALMS champion Olivier Beretta.

    Package includes:

    • Track access with premium viewing
    • Full gourmet catering, including breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks in the Ferrari VIP suite
    • All-night barbecue for the race day
    • Closed-circuit TV race viewing from the suite
    • Risi Competizione paddock and transporter tour and pit experience
    • Driver meet-and-greet
    • Ferrari Corral parking

    Price: $795 per person.

Call the Ferrari Concierge at 866-551-2828 to RSVP or for more information. Or, register now at www.ferrarievent.com/gtracing/daytona

Below is the FCA poster for the event. Every wanted to drive the track at speed? Every wanted to see the race, but have just been putting it off? Is it in your bucket list? This is the year-Ferrari is back! (Will someone take the poster, open it and post it? For some reason it is appearing as a link rather than a poster)

Crew...which crew are you with? Can we visit? I hear that John Finger from Greenville will be driving on one fo the Porsche teams. Also, one of the best young drivers in the country is from Charleston-Leh Keen www.lehkeen.com/ . The FCA's rate is really good at $475 and includes two people, not one as the poster seens to indicate. In addition, there is a track day on Monday at the $900 rate..

Nadine and I will be there with team credentials. Not Ferrari, but we know people in many/most Porsche teams running, including the people at Porsche and Grand Am.

Assuming good weather, this year should be an awesome race. Lots of cars, new manufacturers, 50th anniversary events, etc....

if you've never been, this is the year to go!

    See you there JMF! :)

Was the in-real-life Aventador as fantastic looking as the media images suggest?

I saw it only for several seconds as it was driving on one of the Daytona infield roads...it did look pretty awesome though. The McLaren on the other hand...its just a little boring/average looking.

You missed the polished aluminum & blue carbon Veyron Grand Sport. Sitting in the infield towards turn 4 in front of an equally expensive looking motor coach.

Thank you to David Scott for encouraging me to go - it has been 12 years since my last visit and it was a blast. I have 700+ photos to dig through, but I'll post up some highlights soon.

I got the FF (2 actually), but forgot to mention the 250SWB that was in the FoCF paddock.

    Where was the GTO parked?

    And wow...a Veyron!

An impressive car indeed but still ugly as sin IMO.
I didn't see any of these. I guess I spent too much time in the garage/pit area

You're right, the car is kind of ugly, but I'd be delighted to drive it if they would only give me one!
