    I was wondering if anyone from the New England Chapter is considering attending the 24 Hours of Daytona? I'm thinking of going but would prefer to hang with buddies from our chapter, anyone thinking of going and want to hang out together? Any suggestions for hotels?

    I will be heading down, I have crewed for the last couple years on a Porsche GT team and plan on trying again this year. ( would really like to get on a ferrari team) The experience is quite different on the inside of the pits, I was lucky enough to get a job going over the wall.

    Hotels are cheaper on Daytona beach, but you could also catch a couple zzzz in a rental car in the infield parking, or even camp ( quite the party zone) This year should be special with a lot of ferrari's entered and the 50th anniversary of the race. just dress for anything, one year it was 40 degrees overnight

    Thanks for the insight. Sounds like a great time and with the numerous Ferrari's entered this year should be exciting.
