    Does anyone know how much tension the cam chains should have, these engines have a mechanical adjustment system where tension is made via a bolt pushing on the chain tooth gear device.

    caution!!!!!
    I AM NOT FAMILIAR W/THE STRATOS, BUT IF YOU TRY THAT ON A 246, BENT VALVE.


    The bolt on the dino is a check only, after releasing tension on the tensioner, a spring pre loads the chain to the correct tension, the nut and bolt only are used as a fix so that the tensioner is not able to back out releasing tension on the chain. do not adjust w/engine running---- disaster
