Hi, I'm new to this forum from m3posts.com I'm organizing a weekly sunday morning meet spot out in Sag Harbor, Long Island. It's at a local burger joint called Bay Burger. They sell good lunch, breakfast and coffee. It's going to be Sunday mornings at 10am officially starting May 3rd, but with the nice weather this weekend we're getting an early start tomorrow. Trying to get a good mix of cars to show up.

We have an official thread going on m3posts.com Try and come out.

There usually are a lot of car guys that meet at Marty's Deli on Old Stone Highway in East Hampton on Sunday mornings as well. Have you ever been?

no, but I did just hear about a bunch of guys meeting there on sundays. I'll have to check it out sometime. Try and get them all to cruise to Sag Harbor. Trying to get something good going out here. There's more than enough cars around here, but never any local meets.

I've been trying to organize such a thing for a while ( I thought the "Long Wharf", Sag Harbor would be a good place). There's certainly no shortage of nice cars out here in the Hamptons, just need an excuse/place to meet on a weekly basis. I'll help spread the word. See you all next weekend with the 308.

We also need to have a nice Concourse Car Show here, between the times of the Hampton Classic Horse Show and The Hamptons Internatioanl Fim Festival, maybe.

I agree. Todays turnout was pretty nice. Next week should be great though considering that's the official start date. The Wharf would be fun too. I figured this was better though since the lot is privately owned. If we get a good showing next week we can all cruise into the village and out on the wharf after. There's definitely more than enough nice cars out here. Now that we got something organized all we gotta do is spread the word. We even had to ///M3 guys come out from NJ today.

Bump for good weather this sunday. As of now they're calling for sunshine and 58 degrees. Perfect for a drive. Hoping to get a nice mix out there.

Bay Burger seems the better place considering the restaurant is ok and offering there parking spaces. I would think at the warf in the morning it might be a "hassle" to some with "a lot" of cars coming to that parking area which is a public area. The police and people living near the area may want to break any gatherings up?, maybe.

The privately owned parking lot is the main reason I chose that location. Also being right outside of the village makes it less hassle with crowds, traffic and cops. If the meet gets too big we'll have to move it. But they do have a nice lot at Bay Burger and the owner sets tables outside for us so we can all hangout by the cars.

But as long as it's not raining we'll be there tomorrow.

Hey guys, this looks like it's really picking up. Do you know how long of a drive it is from Westchester, N.Y? I'd love to come check it out soon!

Depending on traffic (and how heavy your right foot is) it's about 1 hour 15 minutes from the Throgs Neck Bridge. I'm assuming that's the way you'd come from Westchester

New location for weekly meets. Much nicer scenery check the Facebook group for details or PM me for info.

Today was pretty much a wash due to wet roads. But next week we are back on the Sunday schedule and will be meeting at the end of the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor, located at the end of Main St.

Why the change? As in what was stated above about the parking situation and public lots.

Main reason is the scenery is so much better. New location is also in Sag Harbor village so you can leave your car for a bit and walk around town, get some food and check out the shops. Quite often there are many nice cars there anyway, and they are always driving down there and people are always walking down so it's more fun.
