    I had the same problem. I changed my spark plugs to NGK Iridium and now no back firing and more power. I've no idea why.

    Use iridiums in the Alfa V6 24v, never thought of them for the Dino.
    You can actually feel the difference?
    Which ignition system do you use?

    Sorry Luigi, I don't buy that one. Standard NGK plugs are more than sufficient to ignite the mixture and if you can feel the difference then you have a sensitive right foot.

    Lest I should be misunderstood; I was asking VicJano if he could tell the difference, not saying I could......

    Yes it was definitely slightly more eager. Ignition is currently mechanical points awaiting electronic system being developed by member 'Nuvolari'.

    34 years ago going digital made a difference to mine, I am sure yours will benefit also
    was not aware a new system was being developed. is there a link somewhere?
