    Were any of the dino window winders made of anything besides metal?. I have one that is out of some sort of plastic resin.

    there are two types of window winders. the early cars had an all metal winder with a gear on the end. the later ones had a plastic handle with no gear. however, you have to look at your car to determine what type it takes. there is no solid answer that i know of for the type vs. year.
