Hello, one of the tie rods of front anti roll bar of my 246 is slightly bent. Not dramatically, but I can state this by looking at it. Has anyone here in the forum tried to rebent a tie rod? Material looks like cast iron and I am afraid that bending too many times may result in braking.

Alternatively, does anyone know a source for a new or used one at a reasonable price?

    Thank you

    Georg

I wouldnt attempt to straighten them, dont worry to much about it so long as the bushes align and dont wear out rapidly. Most are slightly offset anyway!

Is the bend from Ferrari original or is now your geometry feel very off to need repair?

Well, the one tie rod looks straight, the other unfortunately looks slightly bent. I have mounted both back in my car and the suspension works nicely. It looks like the rubber metal bushings compensate the bent.
Thank you Tony and Sergio for your thoughts on my topic
