The Fantasy Junction 246gts (06134) looks pretty darn nice, and it seems relatively cheap, given that I sold my non-chairs and flares 246gts last year for about the same price.

In the Dino Register, the car is first listed as gold, with tan/black Daytona seats, headlight covers, standard wheels (NOT CAMPYS), and no flares. Then it became red sometime in 1989 (I believe) with black seats. So, it is unclear to me what the original specification was.

Anyway, all in all, it is a nice looking car, although it appears that the expansion tank might not be original (maybe it works better though). Hey, and Patrick Ottis is just a few blocks away so you can get a great mechanic to do a PPI for you.

Buyers should read the words carefully, especially
"and there are only a few small blemishes: a few small chips on the front of the car from road use, a handful of stress cracks, and a small amount of superficial bubbling in the bottom of right door, the right rocker, and the splash area behind the right rear wheel..."

These are the exact places where typical rust evidence is found but can span far greater unseen areas.

It sold for 165 I think.

overall it seems to be in good shape but had to remove pass side gas tank due to leak from return line.

non stock radiator and exhaust also has crane fireball thing on it

3 months ago fellow Fchatters responded and offered suggestions, and continued to post despite the fact that gtguy has apparently drifted on into the far reaches of this galaxy. If you check his posting history, he is also WTBing a 400, a 330, and, I think, also a BBi, and who knows what else. Time to add gtguy to my special list?

He also is WTBing a 68 Daytona.

Let's see, gosh darn it, what drawer did I leave my 68 Daytona in? Maybe it is in the same drawer with my Ken Griffey and Sammy Sosa rookie cards.

    No - not there.

Maybe I put it in the box with my Mad Magazines.

    Damn. Not there either.
