Hi all. I need to replace the underfloor tray that is in fiberglass for my 1970 L series. I found part number 20279600 on Superperformance and Dinoparts but it says for chassis after 02132. It looks like it could work for my car. Any advice? Also is there insulation needed? Thanks

If you're in the US, All Ferrari parts used to have the correct LHD fibreglass under trays but they are ~2" too long and should be trimmed to fit.
I installed one on my LHD L-series (I'm assuming yours is LHD, there are only a few RHD).
I've fitted the Superformance fibreglass under tray to an early E-series and it's suitable for LHD or RHD Dinos as the large removable panel at the front can access pedals on either side.
This should also fit an L-series if trimmed down as the distance between the outboard oval chassis rails is less.

Thanks Andrew. I am in Europe so will look at Dino parts or Superperformance. Regards

This is one of the Dino parts that's very easy and cheap to produce yourself and even easier if you still have the old underbelly to copy all the measurements from. All you need is low tech standard tools for fiberglass fabrication and a flat plate of some kind to lay out the fiberglass matte onto. No insulation needed if you adhere to the original configuration but many install some insulation against road noise and temperature.

    Best, regards Peter
