    Hi All

Was the pininfarina badge on the side of the dino attached with threaded studs originally or the friction clips ? I have seen both types

I have never seen threaded studs however the friction clips can often scratch serrations in the pins during removal that can easily be mistaken for threads. Many people break off the studs and adhere the badge in place with thin double sided tape. This is handy when the body shop fills in the stud holes :)

I believe that many different suppliers have made these badges over the years each with their own 'twist'. I saw a huge amount of variance between badges as most cars have had them replaced. That said having studied really original cars there was some consistency with variances between the series. We were lucky to have our original badge and went through a most exhaustive process to restore it. From my research all I saw were non threaded studs but for sure some later manufacture ones could have them.

Which series Dino? For M/E the guys below are correct but 206 and most L-series had the 2 piece badge which has M3 threaded studs originally (same as 275GTB).
