Can someone tell me what type of screw holds the fan on the shaft that is in the access hole on the side? I thought it might my hex key but nothing fits and I can't get the motor out of the car with the fan attached. Not sure it will come out when it's off either. There is almost no space with AC heat exchanger sandwiched in there. Thanks as always!

It is usually a slotted grub screw. Most of the ones I've done have been seized and I've had to drill them out. I then replace with a hex head stainless grub screw. Good chance you will have to take the radiator out to get the fan motor out because the motor with the fan won't fit through the grill opening.
