    I need a gate, the reverse tab is worn down and wont catch the shifter. Does anyone have one they will part with?

    Are you talking about the little "shark fin" under the gate, like the 308 gates? Mine was worn and I used a welder to build up a little material, then filed it down to the same profile.

    Didnt want to blue the chrome with heat, guess i can try the mig and put a dab on it.
