Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows of any old classic wheels that will fit a 246 Dino? I was trying to find maybe some 15" classic ferrari/fiat wheels that might fit the car so it is easier to find higher performance tires. If that doesnt work, does anyone know the Bolt pattern and offset of wheels on a Dino? thanks for any help.

John Corbani has a nice diagram of offsets and sizes. 16" optional 308gtb/s rims fit also.

Not sure about the bolt pattern and offset, but according to the attached handy web tire size calculator, a 215/55-16 is identical in radius, circumference, etc. to the stock 205/70-14. This would therefore appear to be the ideal "Plus 2" tire size. Since it's only 1 cm. wider that stock, I wouldn't think there would be any interference problems.

ahh ok thanks guys. Currently the car has a 225/55/14 on the stock wheels and im trying to find a good decent performing replacement. There is nothing really in the 14"s so i was thinking of getting some new wheels. I noticed that John's car has gotti wheels. Is there anywhere to buy those in the U.S.? I was trying to find some wheels other then the star 308 ones because i dont think it fits the Dino very well.

The current Gotti 55C is similar in construction to what I have. 16" diameter, 8" wide in front, 8.5" wide in rear, 4" offset on both. 5" offset would be better in rear. 205/55 tires perfect in front, largest that will not hit or rub somewhere. 225/50 perfect handling match in rear. Same as many later 3XX rear engine Ferraris. I drive on some bumpy roads and question going to much larger wheels. Car is very light and ride would be awful stiff with shorter sidewalls. Pretty stiff now compared to 14" wheels. More in my "Dino Saga 051009"
