    A friend has offered me his 246gt-body is painted (very nicely done, yellow) interior is done, but out of the car, engine resealed, also out of the car, all the big stuff is there, but it may be missing some small bits and pieces (carpet etc) he has no books, tools or records, I think, sadly, but the car seems very nice...any suggestions? If I wanted to sell it later on down the line, I'm guessing no records etc makes it much less valuable?

    Way too many variables here to even guess.

    Year, Euro/US, mileage, running/driving vs not, which stuff not is working, rust issues, originality, crash repair, engine and gearbox condition, which parts are missing, etc, etc

    No records isn't much of a surprise. But, with the serial number Matthias has an excellent data base of where the car may have been.
