Some guys really use their Lussos.
I have to say that is one of the coolest Ferrari pictures I have ever seen. I once saw a guy get his 250 cali spyder sideways coming out of turn 11 at sears point, inches from the concrete barrier at the wine country classic. Great pic, thanks.
WE TOOK IT ALL APART, I HOPE WE CAN PUT IT TOGETHER AGAIN. MR NICOSIA MAYBE YOU CAN HELP US. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can someone explain the thought behind putting the tach and speedo in the center of the dash instead of in the drivers' line of sight? David Goerndt
Two reasons: 1) keep the dash in front of the driver low profile 2) Scare and/or impress the passenger. -steve
That silver / tan combo is flat out the best looking lusso I have seen. Others might like diff colors but for my silver / tan is it!!!!!!!!! Very Nice.
NO THEY ARE NOT!!!! (regarding the pics in post #37) Please look at the grill in the first picture. The grill surround has a platform in front of the mesh and the other Lussos do not. This is clearly a different grill as the first cars grill is inset. I have noticed some lusso grills are flush and some are inset. I understand how many cars are unique but was this a early version/late version type of thing? It might make the nose look longer. Ed
Somewhere is this thread Lusso sn 5543 is mentioned. My father used to own this car and sold it to a (lucky) US Ferrari aficianodo somewhere around 2003. Does anybody know the current whereabouts of this car or have any recent pictures? Thanks in advance! Regards MJ Kraak, NL
Hah! I've got Dick beat! 5067, 5073, 5227, 5259, 5399, 5499, and 5505. God, doncha hate a braggart? Seriously, these are not only great looking cars, but quite pleasant to drive, although nose-heavy compared to their predecessors the SWB's. With SWB's going for $3M and up, I think Lussos might be under-priced. But what do I know? I sold mine for $5000 or $6000.
Sorry for bringing back such an old thread but wondering if anyone still has the pictures from this thread (that are missing now from showing up) I'm the new caretaker of 4421 looking for history etc.

I have owned mine for over 50 years; looks and runs perfect, and my grandsons drive it at times (carefully).
A few I saw during the years....
